To create its dynamic surface, this stoneware cup is crafted by wedging two tones of matte green clay with white stoneware. After throwing and trimming, I slice the surface with a peeler to create facets that reveal deeper, more complex layers of the marble pattern. This technique ensures every piece is a unique work of art before being high-fired to 1250°C in an electric kiln.

The mugs are finished with a thin, transparent glaze on both the interior and exterior. While they are dishwasher and microwave safe due to the high firing temperature, we recommend handwashing to best preserve their handmade quality and ensure their longevity.
